Plan to do it again but am waiting for the hurt for IMTX registration fee to subside.

I remember it used to sell out... Not sure if I need to register very soon or can wait...

Thanks,
Brian

It doesn't sell out.  It also doesn't exactly have a great reputation or good word of mouth due to the horrible bike course so I wouldn't worry about it ever selling out.

Do Kerrville instead.

This will be my 4th Longhorn (5th if you count the sprint I did when it was pre-WTC)

Yea, the bike course stinks and usually totally causes my run to suck more than it usually sucks...
But.... I'm a sucker for punishment.

LOL.  I really need to go back to prove to myself this course won't get the better of me.  Not this year though.

Do Kerrville instead.

Isn't Kerrville a month earlier?

Last year was the first year I haven't done this race.  It has some neat bits, but the venue really isn't that good: crappy roads, lots of chipseal, partial off-road run, etc.

I'll be giving Kerrville a shot this year instead.

I know a lot of guys on my team racing Oilman. Minimum chip seal and its one week after Longhorn. The consensus on our team from experience was to stick with Oilman this year.

Need to deflate Baron's tires to slow that guy down.

You might need to do more than that.
