Member  131  |  Subject: Anyone doing Chapparel tomorrow?I am not. But good luck if you are. I am hoping to go watch it tomorrow as I MIGHT set the olympic distance as my goal race for next summer. Hope the weather is good (not too hot not too cold) |

Made many comments about why the crazy ladies weren't wearing wetsuits..............honestly I didn't think it really happened that it got too warm for wetsuits in this part of the world. But I guess. How did it go? the temp for the bike/run is nice. Has Chapparel been non-wetsuit in the past? I am thinking of doing to Oly next summer but this morning sans-suit kinda freaked me out.

Veteran 2297 Great White North | Subject: RE: Anyone doing Chapparel tomorrow? It has been a few times when it hosted elite provincials but the cut off for elite is 20, AG its 22. So its nornal to be over 20 but below 22. So 24 is a bit high but not freak warm. Edmonton ITU AG race is touch and go most years . |

Veteran 2297 Great White North | Subject: RE: Anyone doing Chapparel tomorrow? Here's the deal. Lots of races fudge the water temp to allow wetsuits. But it was provincials this year and the technical delegate makes sure its by the book. |

Of course all this is speculation for next year and keeping up my ommph to do it. How was the race overall? the weather was nice for it. |
