Ate banana coffee and had a triple threat. Drank 20 oz of water to stay hydrated.

The first of the swim was rough because of people slowing down after starting out to fast. I saw one guy on his bcak after about a 100 yards.
What would you do differently?:

Get to the front instead of starting in the rear.

This is one long run to the transition it is aleast a 10th of a mile to the bike. Running up a steep concrete grate. and on the beach.

Shift to low gear before i rack the bike.
