Subject: another bike art project

I got a call on Saturday for a bicycle wire art project.  They wanted a tandem and wanted straight spokes.  Then an email after the wheels were done that they wanted a different spoke, so I started making new wheels.  Then I get another email before I have finished the other set that they want to have the straight spokes, but no longer a tandem.  They wanted an old school looking road bike.  So what you see below, is my interpretation of what the customer requested.  Big old road bars and pedals with a toe clip.

That's great. Given what I've seen you post in the past, this piece seems larger, but it's beautiful.

I have made three tandems that use a similar sized wheel, so this is smaller, but only in length.  I have also done a penny farthing that has stands about 6' tall also.  I make large and smaller depending upon what it is for.  I just finished a project for myself and will post it up in the next few days that is smaller .  I just have to spray it with clear and then it is going to be hanging in my music/workout room for some motivation.  I have made so many different things since starting this just a few months ago, that I need to look at my facebook page that I created for it and see what I have forgotten to post there also.

If I get home tonight from work before it is time for me to get six hours of sleep before I have to be back to work, I will try and finish a project you will like.  If I can get it finished and take pictures before falling asleep, I will post for you tomorrow.

BTW, I have two more funky farthings for sale!!!!!  :-)
