Subject: Newbie-first race in 12 days!
Hi, my name is Therese. I am doing my first triathlon in Fort Desoto Park in Florida. I'm nervous as hell haha! I've been training and looking to set a baseline with this triathlon for future ones. But for some reason I'm afraid I won't finish ha!

Welcome to BT, Therese! Good luck on your race. You'll either determine that you hate this sport or you'll get hooked. If you get hooked you'll get nervous no matter how many you do. There's so much information on here and so many helpful people. Hope you have an awesome experience!

Good luck in your first tri! I am new to this too (2 tris and 1 du this summer). Don't worry about time for your first one...just go out and have fun Smile
