Subject: intensity on recovery week?
I am in my first official recovery week (and I know I needed it!)

Today I did a 25 minute bike which was more of a slow easy pace..not even officially in my training zone because I was doing it with my 9 year old who is training for a duathlon. Is this level "enough" during a recovery week or should I be going hard since the training times are short?

Drop your time by about 30 - 50%. I'd also drop your intensity as well. It sort of defeats the purpose of a recovery week if you're going all out on your workouts. Enjoy the rest and give your body a chance to build itself back up. You'll feel much better after you do!
