Okay, I would just like to note that I did NOT race this race.

I had promised my friend Justin, who HATES running & avoids it at all costs, that if he ran, not only would I

a) wear pink sparkly buttefly wings during the event
b) do "the worm" across the finish line
c) go out the night before

I also promised I would not let him be ditched by everyone & make him run by himself. So I jiggle-jogged with him. It sort of killed me b/c it was a cool, overcast day, PERFECT weather for beating my time from last year. But I made a promise and I kept it.

I probably annoyed him the whole time b/c I kept saying "good job, good job, let's try to pick it up a little!" when he just wanted to walk. Haha. But you've got to give the guy props for participating in his first 5k!
