We are a group of ultra and trail running friends that want to share our love of the trails and distance running. This g
...roup is about FUN and we welcome runners of all levels. M.U.D.D runs Veterans Acres/Sternes Woods in Crystal Lake, IL weekly and occasionally travel to other trail locations.
Veterans Acres and Sternes Woods park are hilly single track through the woods. FUN trails! We run loops so it's easy to stop by the car to refuel and get water. Training on these trails will get you ready for any trail race.

Disclaimer: all levels r welcome, but if u start running with us, be cautious because miles will become addictive & shorter distance runners just may find themselves soon running a 50K, 50 & 100+ miles before u know it! It all starts with showing up to just one MUDD run!
