Protein shake with blueberries strawberries and cream 2 hours before start
Event warmup:

Comments:

The hills were a good challenge and made for an excellent workout. 2 and 1/2 minutes slower than classic 10K 3 weeks ago probably because of hills. More people did the 5K, but apparently all the fast people did the 10K. The top 40-49 man did a 35:36, and the top 5 40-49 men were all under 40 minutes.
What would you do differently?:

Push myself a little more in the middle of the run.

Lots of water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I'm slow and I need to run more.

Event comments:

A nice local race, which is always fun because you get to see a lot of the people that you see at other local races.
