Comments: Good run for the conditioning I had up to that point; training had been a struggle since February. What would you do differently?: Spend more time running outside, eating better, being a little more trained and a little less heavy. Probably not over training would have helped. Post race
Warm down: walked around, at a banana, an orange, walked around. Had another protein shake and water. What limited your ability to perform faster: level of fitness, weight. Event comments: Only the first and second place finishers received awards despite it saying on the website that all runners. There were sandwiches but they ran out apparently. There were fruits and water. It wasn't bad but no bells and whistles. The staff were helpful and friendly; if you aren't expecting a 'top of the line' event, this one is fine.
