I am rarely sore after a workout. Next morning comes, still not sore.

I am concerned I am not working my muscles hard enough. Aerobically I feel I am getting in good work.

So, I guess my question is: Am I not working hard enough, or am I being smart and not over working?

It's not necessarily a good or bad thing.  There are a variety of other indicators that will let you know if your training is on track.

Being sore not a sign of progress -- Progress is a sign of progress. Be thankful that you aren't sore.
