We have a tradition in our house that you can have (within reason) whatever you want for your birthday dinner--you call the ball.  I asked my 7yo yesterday what she wanted for her birthday dinner (today) and she was quiet for a minute and said "Ribs" (shout-out LB--she LOVES them), "and bacon and tuna salad, with sweet potato pie with real whip cream and A1."

Ribs--check

Bacon (hilarious, and check--she's eating it as an appetizer)

Tuna Salad--WTF? No, you can only have two proteins

Sweet Potaot Pie--check

Real Whipping Cream--that's my girl

A1--ACK! only because it's your birthday

What did she put the A1 on?

Bacon and Ribs.  She sounds like a smart girl!  (guess it runs in the family.)

Well, in theory they're separate, though this is the child who's gonna be my limit tester.

I know you don't want to imagine her violating those ribs, so just imagine her eating A1 like soup--a separate course.

I don't know about smart (though, she really is), but she does like meat;)

If she wants A1 with the ribs the so be it......people have different tastes.  If she wants A1 on top of whipped cream........no, that violates "some people have different tastes".  That'd be weird, or sick, or in need of counseling......or something.

Yeah...counseling...

I should have listed the ingredients in a most obvious order.  I guess it didn't occur to me that some might think those could go together.

You've seen some weird chit, LB;)

That is only two proteins. Pork and tuna. Don't deny the girl her birthday wish.

I went into the pool area (as this was a pool swim) and got body marked. That's when it hit me that I was there to race - this was not a clinic.
