This is a great triathlon for both beginners and experienced athletes. The overall winners the last 2 years have been Beginner Triathlete members. I'm sure it won't me me this year but hopefully it will be someone else here. For anyone unsure about the event, we have training sessions every Sat. starting at 9:00 am with a swim session followed by a bike around the course, and usually a few extra miles along with a run

great race! my favorite bike/run venue in the whole upstate hands down. swim is in the pool which is a pool so nothing standout there unless you hate open water or long swims. anyone looking for something to do this weekend should consider it.
I'm doing the 22 week sprint tri program and the 2 mile bike ride it starts with is not very challenging. I see this as a opportunity to train the right way and challenge myself. Any ideas?
This past spring I realized a few of us were heading in the wrong direction physically. We were getting together for poker games and kids’ birthdays, but that was it.
The challenge? The accomplishment? I want to do this because it is an opportunity to live life. The event is an indoor sprint triathlon. I get to experience the challenge on a safer scale.
Already a cyclist and not a bad swimmer, I figured all I had to do was build up to running a few miles and I’d be ready to go. The challenge invigorated me, and I ran out to buy new running shoes.
