If you will soak your fishy fish in some water with a couple of table spoons of table salt it will make the fish taste a little cleaner.

Have you tried Orange Roughy (sp?). This is one fish that I love and it doesn't have that fishy thing going on. It is cost alittle more but it is sooo good. Grill it, Fry it., or bake it in foil it is always good. :-)

I second the Orange roughy. I buy bags of it frozen from Sam's and throw them on the Foreman grill with Lawrey's and Mrs. Dash. I am not a big fish eater either. Another one I love is Swordfish. I bake it in a glass casserole dish covered with lemon juice and seasoning. Other less fishy tasing fish are: Grouper, dolphin (not flipper which is a porpoise :-) or MahiMahi.

I am not a big fan of fish.... actually that is an understatement. I hate fish.

However there is only two types of fish i eat

1) Salmon, only if it is deep fried... lol and that doesn't happen often

2) It's a fish that i have yet to find in places other than Asia. It's called the Pomfret, Usually it is a silver/grey fish that is in a diamond shape. The texture and everything tastes amazing.

I just had cod tonight that was lightly breaded and cooked in olive oil. No fishy smell or taste. It was the first time I tried it and it was very good.

Yup the saltwater thing works. Also tilapia fillets dipped in Egg Beater and then seasoned bread crumbs is really good when broiled on high for 3 min on each side. (I take these on a loc cal bun to work about three times a week.) For you oil folks - check out Enova Oil ( http://www.enovaoil.com/) for an oil that can be a part of a healthy weight loss program.
