Pre-race routine:

Up at 4:00Am to eat breakfast but the stove didn't work in the cabin we rented. Ate Dunkin Donuts egg and cheese on an english instead.

Paced this for a 70.3. Need to work on sprint pacing. Didn't get as dizzy coming out of the water though

Wetsuit got stuck on me
Pedals on the bike weren't set up for me to just take off. I had to fiddle with them

Had a hard time getting going on. needed to walk a couple of times within the first mile. After that though, I got into a good rhythym

walked around a bit then sat down by the water, stretched out a bit

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my pacing was off. My body thought it was getting ready for a 70.3 race

This was my first Ironman Brand race and I have to say I had a great experience.

The challenge? The accomplishment? I want to do this because it is an opportunity to live life. The event is an indoor sprint triathlon. I get to experience the challenge on a safer scale.

This plan is designed to make you go faster. 3 workouts per week in each sport, 2 days of strength training and core work. The maximum volume is around 10 hours toward the end of the 12 weeks.
