thrilling finish!  Lance scores some time on Col d'Aspin as blue train whipped up the pace and others had trouble holding on.  Almost sad to see the Maiilot Jaune falling off the rear, Hamilton is suffering as well.  Big gains over Ulrich who did not look very threatening today.
Separate times for all today.

Whew.....now I can go on with my day!

Been checking www. letour.com all morning. Wow.  The cream is rising to the top.   Tomorrow, Stage 13, will tell who is really in the TdF to win.  Wow, that final climb.  For me, it would take ropes and pitons to get me up that hill.  TW

I heard Tyler and Lance both say tomorrow is the day. I wish I knew what was on Ulrich's mind. I have a late gig tonight but still plan on being up at 6:00 a.m. and tune in. In a way, I'm glad our trip to France didn't work out. The coverage on OLN (Only Lance Network) is great.

Ulrich could be playing the same trick Lance did a few years back.

Everyday I curse the fact that I don't have cable. Geez! I barely get local channels. ABC, NBC, PBS and Fox are it!!

Sounds like I'm missing out on a great show! sigh...

d

(Of course, I don't have cable, because I'm spending all my money on tri related items!!)

its a good thing that you cant wear you the refresh button in internet explorer... other wise mine would be dead from continually checking up on letour.com. Even the little 1 sentance updates that they were giving me every couple of minutes got me so pumped... i cant wait to see them replay the race tonite..

Tonite is friday nite, and i'm an underage/ overworked college kid... need i say more about tonites festivities?? haha.... but no doubt i'll find my way to a tv tomorrow morning and watch the next stage..

Dana, I totally hear you. I would pay a good bit just to have this one channel for this one month. But I don't want the whole kit n' caboodle. I spend a lot of time on http://www.tourdefrancenews.com/tourdefranceevery day. I think that, for not being television, their coverage is great.

So Lance came second and gained 3 mins on Ulrich. Big deal!!! He was just doing what was expected.
For me the stand out was Thomas Voecklers gutsy climb to the top. That was outstanding. Watching him grit his teeth and battle it out to the finish was excellent. He's not giving up the maillot jaune without a fight.
I don't normally give french sportsmen the time of day but he has my utmost respect.

Ooooh, I didn't know there was such a thing! Did you have to download any software onto your computer for that?

Do you think TriClyde is sitting at home and watching tv wondering why Voeckler is even bothering to race when he knows he is not going to win the tour.
