Subject: RE: 50 days for first Sprint That's not a lot of time, but it's definitely enough time to get some biking in. You'll be just fine if your goal is to finish. My suggestion is get (at minimum ) 3 rides in a week.
Can you start biking outside right away?
Make sure at least one of the rides is a longer ride. Each week for about 5-6 weeks, extend your long ride so that you are building up stress and endurance on your legs and then taper your last week or two.
On your other rides, bike hard. I would ride for at least 60 min on your non long rides. Throw in some intervals.
Overall get your legs used to riding in the few weeks you have. 4 or 5 rides a week is better, since you're starting fresh, but 3 is ok if you must.
Also, try to get in a 3rd run each week if possible.
Enjoy the process. I really love biking, and I like working on swim technique, so it makes training fun. After your first tri, you'll probably be addicted.
