Only a handful of weeks away. Registration #s look incredibly low. Any chance they will cancel or take away the KQ spots?

Where do you see the list of registered athletes? Nothing is showing up here - http://www.ironmanloscabos.com/wordpress/index.php/starter-list/

If you go to the registration page on active.com, instead of registering again (which would be silly to do so ) you can search participants. Only 284 as of this morning.

So active.com is showing me as registered if I browse my registrations, but the participant list does not list me.  My bib# was listed on the registration as 241, but the list only has bibs 324 through 684. Have a feeling that the list is incomplete.

I'm in for the half.
Any idea/thoughts on whether wetsuit will be allowed? Water temp is in the 80's.

The website doesn't appear to be updated with water temp, but I imagine it will not be wetsuit legal. Even if it is, it is going to be pretty hot down there, so I am not sure if you would want to risk dehydrating. Just my thought. I am only bringing my swimskin

I hear ya. I've never done a tri without a wetsuit before and its probably a crutch I need to let go of. That and the fact that I've never done a beach entry-ocean swim should make it interesting.

There is no way it is wetsuit legal.

I've come to that realization.

I don't have a swimskin but have a tight fitting 1-piece trisuit. It has sleeves that come down to just above elbows. I believe they are now legal for the swim correct?

I am not 100% sure, but they do things a little differently in Mexico. Slip them a few singles and I'm sure they will let it slide. ??
