Subject: Looking for post peroneal tendon surgery insight :-) Hello Friends,
I am new to the forum and stopped by because under search results quite a few articles are pulling up regarding "peroneal tendon surgery" from this forum and I am hoping some of you may be able to send a wealth of knowledge my way!
That being said, I went 6 months with a peroneal tendon tear, I did everything I could to avoid surgery and nothing worked. That being said, I am now post op 3 months of peroneal tendon surgery, and let me tell you, it's been brutal. I am still not cleared to drive, I cannot walk without a cast or crutches, I have started physical therapy and I am getting better each day but I am struggling with the recovery process, specifically how long it is taking. #ugh
Could anyone shed light on how their recovery went; at what month could you start to walk normal again? and when could you start to run again? I am a runner and a soccer player and right about now I'm just shooting on walking again. ha!
Looking forward to the responses!
Thanks all,
Danielle, over this walking boot. :- ) |
