Good job Joe especially considering the conditions. I thought for sure I would flat or lose it with all the debris in the road. Sorry I didn't meet up with any BTers. This was my first race since joining the website and I don't know anyone local to recognize them. Next year! Sounds like I will see you on a new bike!!!! Way to tough it out on the run!!!!!

Great job! Sorry about the cramps, and I know the conditions were a bummer. I haven't been able to race this season, but I was there spectating. I wish I knew who you were b/c I surely would have cheered loudly for you!

Thanks! I did see one guy wipe out on one of the sharp turns in the loop of the bike. He locked 'em up while starting his lean (I guess on some leaves)... he said he was alright, didn't look like he went down hard, but he slid a ways. Not bad for my first tri... I had my family there so I didn't hang around to see my standings... can't wait til they post them on dqtridu.com. Definitely see you next year! -joe "Lovanisci" (will be on the reults... they spelled it wrong... it should begin with an "I"..oh well...)

Thanks for coming out and cheering for your fellow BT'rs! It really motivated me in the homestretch of the run. I survived my first tri and didn't drown ;-) I'm happy! -joe

Great job out there today! You are going to be pretty darn quick when you trade in the mountain bike, but great job. A road bike or tri bike ought to be worth a couple mph. Way to fight through the conditions and the cramps. See you around

Hey that wipe out might have been my brother... he wiped out and I stopped to help him out. He was scraped up pretty bad and hurt his knee but ended up doing really well on the bike. That's funny that you saw that. Anyway, I'm really impressed if this is only your first tri. It was my second. Good luck with all your future tri's!

The guy said he was alright, so another guy and me did not stop... I figured the marshalls standing right there would help him out. It was on the far corner of the bike loop, a sharp left-hander. I hope he is doing alright!

Can't wait to do more tri's.... just picked up a road bike off eBay last night
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&item=230020442...

I should pick up a few minutes on the bike and have fresher legs for the run.

Think I'm gonna do the Great Pumpkin Du in Estell Manor, NJ, on Oct 7. 2.2/15/2.2

That's a sweet looking bike... I'm jealous. Not that I know anything about bikes but it looks really good.
