Pre-race routine:

Got up at 5:15 dressed and grabbed an oatmeal bar and my joint supplement drink. I left thehouse at 6.

I worked a water station on the 10K course first. This did get me pumped up to go. I did some stretchinh while waiting for runners.

Worked on my arm technique per Bruce's advice on Sat. and it really paid off (4 minutes off my time)

Met up with the guy that I "dueled" with on Sat. We joked about how we would pace each other. We stayed together for the first mile then I started to pull away. By the turn around I knew there was no chance he would catch me. My hr was in the upper 130's to the lower 140's the whole race.
Course: Very flat and straight.
