Subject: Interval app that actually work
Hi everyone, I’m looking for an interval app where I can set run or hard bike followed by a ding or noise to indicate soft bike or walk. I’ve purchased 3 on iPhone apps for like 1 or 2 bucks each- by they either don’t work with my music, audible, or just in general. Anyone have any good recommendations?

I have used many interval apps for iOS over the years and have ALWAYS come back to "Interval Timer" by Deltaworks. It has both a simple interval option and a more complex interval option with countdowns and other stuff. It works PERFECTLY. I used the free version for years and loved the app so much I got the paid version. It works great with my music and playlists and works in the background too so I can run Strava and Interval Timer and get the music and timer dings and still track my run. LOVE IT. Check it out

I dont work for the company or anything or even know someone who does. I just love their app.

I've been using the one below on android. It's not the slickest, or most user friendly. What I like is that you can set up interval sessions then combine them into workouts. For instance I can set up a standard interval session for trainer warm-ups, set up interval sessions for my main set, then combine them. No fumbling with my phone to switch from warmup interval to main interval.

Your limited in the number of intervals/workouts you can save on the free version. Try it before you buy it, it can be a little confusing to set up the intervals.
