I absolutely love the stereotypes and joke people make about Alabama as it keep people from flooding to Alabama. I think north Alabama is one of the best kept secrets in America. Not too big, not too small, 4 distinct and equal seasons, roaring economy, high standard of living and close to Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, Gulf Shores and Atlanta. Huntsville was recently placed at #8 in a study of "the best places to live in America". If we had some topless protestors we might move up a few places..... |

Pro 15655 | Subject: RE: My kind of riot! I was outside of Huntsville a couple years ago for my son's college conference track meet. I couldn't believe how beautiful it was there in those pine covered hills. I actually called my wife and told her we needed to come back down and check out the real estate market I enjoyed my time there so much. Of course we never did.....she thinks y'all are more backward then I am. |
