Welcome!  I was in the same boat, had the logon for a while but didnt use it until recently.  This is a great site, especially with the forums and logs.  If you need anything answered there are atleast several people here who can help.

Good luck in your future triathlon endevours!

Welcome aboard. I see you're using the logs already, way to go!

Any races under your belt, or a real newbie?

Welcome. Fellow Houstonian here as well. There are several folks on here from Houston and we get together sometimes to do brick (bike/run) workouts at Memorial Park. Hasn't happened in a while though. What part of town are you in? Check out the Texas Forum to find out what is happening around here from time to time.

Thanks every1. I have only completed 1 Sprint tri back in 2004 in Austin. Capital of Texas tri it was called but I think its now Americas Triathlon.
I was fun and now I am back and heading towards the Gulfman 1/2 in April 07!
Got my work cut out for me.
Hey on a side note if anyone is interested in a New Fuel Belt XL size you can check it out at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA...

If interested let me know and I can end the auction early, I will let it go for $20 + Shipping.

I train alot at Memorial running during the week and weekends with Team in Training group and ride the Picnic Loop as well. Im an early bird due to kids school schedule as I am out there around 4:45 am, but think I am going to switch some runs and/or bikes to afternoons and evenings now that it is cooling off.

Thanks for invite to come out and ride, I will have to catch up with you on that down the road but sounds great.
Hey I also signed up to Volunteer at the Ironstar and I got assigned to the bike transistion area!
Should be cool!

Have a great weekend all.
Check me out here as well: http://1stepcloser2im.blogspot.com
