anyone still swimming outside in Eastern WA?

If you are, you're tougher than me!  I swam in CdA lake on Saturday and it was darn cold!  No idea of the water temp, but the thermometer going into town said the air was mid-40s.  When the water first started to seep through the back panels of my wetsuit...brrrrr!  I thought that might be the extent of my October OWS!  Actually managed 30 minutes so maybe it wasn't as bad as it seemed...  And now I can say I swam outside into October!  It's all about the bragging rights!

On the other hand, the water was even clearer than it was during the summer months - beautiful sunny day, clean clear (cold!) water, hot coffee on the way home...  all in all it was a pretty good morning!
