I am getting a comped race, so I guess I need to get out there and swim at least once. I will try to join you there at 4 to get in a swim.

Just wanted to let eveyone know that we ARE NOT meeting tonight to swim and ride. The weather isn't looking that good. But, we will be going tomorrow. I again will be there at 4:00 to swim and then bike at about 4:45. I have to do this before the race and I will be out of town this weekend so Thursday is it for me. Rain or shine I'll be there tomorrow. If anyonw has anyquestions e-mail me. [email protected]

See you all tomorrow

Hey Kids...

I will have my night bike with bright lights (hub generator and Lumotec light) . See click here if you are curions

So you can follow behind me if you cant make it back before dark... wont let anyone get dropped, unless of course, you drop me!! We will look like a group of Harley's coming down the highway in the dark. Very safe unless soccer mom is on the cell when she comes by.

I hope to make it out today to meet ya'll- see the course and get familiar with the bike and run course - dont know if I'll be getting in the water, swam once today -

I did the OKC Redman last Sept - really enjoyed it, the awards ceremony/breakfast the next morning was great-

Alcatraz in June, then the Steehead 70.3 Aug. 4, maybe some locals as well, Xterra in Lawrence, I have done most the other locals except Shanee Mission, it keeps avoiding me or I avoiding it

Just so you all know... I ran at lunch near the lake and it is windy and cold. I will be out there at the lake... not sure if I will swim. If Amelia goes in I probably will be a manly man and go in as well.

Will cycle though I did not bring enough clothes for the wind... say, Could I borrow those arm warmers??? Amelia... can I borrow some panty hose... I left my tights at home!!

I'm getting in!!! Of course I have a full wetsuit so that's almost like cheating compared to yours. I may run home and get something warmer to ride in....See you out there!

You guys should have stayed and rode yesterday!! Byron and I had a great time. The hills aren't that bad. I'm sure some people will be walking, but I won't be one of them!!!! Thanks for letting me borrow the warm shirt....I'm going to wash it before I give it back to you, trust me you don't want it right now!!

I may try to go swim next week, but I don't know I have a very busy week. If not, I'll see you all next Sunday!

I'm going to. It's supposed to be beautiful this weekend and I have some free time while I'm there. I am going to try to ride at least 40 Saturday and ride 30 Sunday and then run some. Of course I know no one there who rides, so I will be alone like usual....

Our brevet goes from Grandview to Spring Hill to La Cygne to Butler to Appleton City and back. It's only 106 miles from the library in Fredonia to La Cygne.. why dont you ride up at meet us by the lake at La Cygne... we should be there about 10 am or so... of course then you need to ride back to the library.

I've got a race report out on my logs for Saturday about the brevet.. 32 really interesting people and I now know most of their stories. We had a 100 miles of straight on headwinds on the back 120.. 10-15 mph winds.  I ride better than most in the wind so I dropped everyone until I got lost in Lees Summit then hooked up with a 12 man peloton and we all came in together. Pretty awesome sight at 9:30 pm... some cars just stopped and watched us go by, yelling at us to "Go".

So how many miles did you ride over the weekend?  When do you want to ride together again??
