Subject: weird calculations
I entered my morning ride today and came up with numbers that didn't make sense. It was a cruddy ride today and I knew that well before I finished.
31.93 Kilometers in 1 hour 9 mins and 12 seconds - the page calculated the average speed at 31.82 Kph (that would have been exceptional for me) - my Catseye says 27.6 Kph average and when I calculated by hand I got ~27.7 Kph. I figure the Catseye is the most accurate.
Anyone else had this experience with their Training Log?

yes, BUT FOR ALL - swim , bike and run - if u put in a '0X' for the minutes, it will round to zero before doing the calculation - hence u got 31.9KPH on the bike.

of course this is wrong and it is great that u caught this.  just putting int the minutes without the zero as a placeholder will work BUT we will permanently fix it so you can do it both ways - with or without the zero as a placeholder.

thanx for pointing it out fatman AND thanx again to lara who figured out a solution.  my software guy is on it and i will post when it works correctly - withing a few days.

off with your head!  no..lara, u would look wierd as the headless triathlete.

THE BUG IS FIXED NOW!  but u will have to go back into all of the old days and recalculate pace and update to correct the prior entries before this post...if it even rounded wrong...depending on your numbers, may not even be a problem.
