Not sure, it is showing on my HD channel. I don't know if it was filmed in HD, though.

From the XTERRA HQ:

While we did have some HD cameras out on the course, the show is going to be broadcast on standard definition. It's still going to look killer, and maybe next year we'll go HD.

I was worried about missing this because of my basketball tickets, and no TIVO, I ended up being stuck home with Norovirus (still am). It was the one positive about being sick. Now if only I had a copy to watch again. Anyone catch on TIVO and have the means to upload it?
