Specialized Sirrus - road bike. A fiend rode it across country, but it hasn't seen nearly that many miles with me - I have a long way to go on this one.

I have, on loan, at the current time, a Klein Quantum Road Bike. It has all Ultegra components, Mavic wheels, double chainring. The current owner set it up with an extended stem, and sawed the handlbars off, flipped them over and added aero bars. If I decide to keep it, I will have to change the handlebar setup...

I'm new to tris ( my first one is in 3 months! ), so I don't have a tri-specific bike ( yet! ).

I'm going to use my mountain bike at first, then if I'm sufficiently hooked, I'll probably get
a road/tri bike.

So right now my answer is: '03 Cannondale F600 w/ clipless. Currently it has knobbies on, but
once the snow finishes melting and the trails are clearer I'm switching to slicks.

I ride a 60cm Cannondale Road bike with factory CODA components with clipless pedals, aero bars, and Bontrager Select wheelset. Would like to go to a TRI bike, but I am a full time college student (at 30 ) and cannot really afford a new bike. Have been lookin cause I finally graduate in May. Anyone know of a 60-61cm TRI frame let me know.

Not that I'm cheap but, I've always wanted to build my own from the frame. Well, my second favorite web site after this one is eBay. I'm a set of brakes and wheels from completeing my Ultegra equiped LeMond Zurich for about 1/3 the price of a new one. Everything except a new Dura ace bottom bracket will be purchased from eBay.

Does your Cannondale have the Caad 3 frame on it? I have a four year old Cannondale with the Caad 3 frame with Shimano 105 comp. that I am thinking of selling to a friend
but I have no idea what they are going for. Any ideas!

This bike is a new 2004 model, I don't know if it still carries the CAAD trademark on it. My older Cannondale (the one pictured in my avatar) is the CAAD 3 frame, and it has the Head Shock built in as well. I also have no idea what this might be worth, although I am considering selling it, possibly with the carbon fiber spinergy wheels and the original spoke wheels as spares. I'm going to have to take a wild guess on a price and hope I'm in the ballpark. I'd ask at my local bike shop for a rough estimate of it's value, that'd probably give you a starting point as well for selling yours.
