Pre-race routine:

up at 3am-normal supplements with coffee/soy creamer, 1 hour later 2 pieces honey toast. Good to go.
Event warmup:

5am warm-up at condo included ligh running, PT exercises, 6 striders, stretching

Took 8oz infinit drink with me at start, 70 cals perfect topper over 3miles, occasional H20 on course.
What would you do differently?:

pacing was too slow first four miles--8:22s, it was dark and I was being conservative

What limited your ability to perform faster:

too conservative, had several poor runs before leaving for Sarasota, overall very happy
