Overall Rank = 41/55
Age Group = 34-39
Age Group Rank = 11/15
Pre-race routine:

I watched everyone set up. The swim was inside and the T1 area was directly outside the pool area. All these poor people coming out the pool into typical Washington State weather was priceless. I laughed for only a moment when I realized I'd be there in about 20 minutes.
Event warmup:

My warm up consisted of a grande vanilla latte and watching other people in the race. Excellent!
Swim
  • 07m 59s
  • 440 meters
  • 01m 49s / 100 meters
Comments:

Who doesn't love a good indoor pool race? I was first out (Ok so there were only 3 of us there!) 6 laps ahead - at least - of the other two. Hey, if you have to brag why not?
What would you do differently?:

I had a dream I was penalized for doing flip turns. This is not so. Next time, flip turns.
Transition 1
  • 00m 45s
Comments:

I LOVE trisuits!!!! You look like a total banana in them but you know wha?. They work SO well for T1's!!!!! Go me! Shoes on, helmet on off I went. Tra la la.
What would you do differently?:

Brag more.
Bike
  • 44m 41s
  • 11.4 miles
  • 15.31 mile/hr
Comments:

I did indeed not do good on this at all. My big mouth stating "Hills smills" didn't cut it this time!! Bad Lynne! BAD LYNNE!
What would you do differently?:

I'd train hills more and not brag about this part of the race at all. In fact, you aint seen me! Right?
Transition 2
  • 00m 30s
Comments:

Easy. Just slipped on shoes AND socks! wowzah and off I went.
What would you do differently?:

What else? Brag!
Run
  • 29m
  • 2.4 miles
  • 12m 05s  min/mile
Comments:

You know how I feel about running but you know what! I actually got it done. It was obviously a shorter course and the bike really warmed my legs up and they didn't feel all jelly/drunk like this time around. The two people in my wave had passed me on the bike but I, yes that's right, I caught up to them BOTH in the run, passing them making me FIRST in my wave.
Post race
Warm down:

This time I got a FREE MASSAGE! This may sound perverted but there's something about getting your buttocks massaged after a race, even one as short as this that is just out of this world. I could have kissed that woman you know. It was fantastic.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Still not enough training knowledge, not enough brick work, too much bragging. Just shut up Lynne and train!!!!

Event comments:

I love Trifreak. I love the people that organize it. I can't credit them enough.

Course: Square on the road route around the neighbourhood. I didn't really like the fact we weren't informed about traffic on the road but people were kind and stayed to the outside lane. There was a big hill at the beginning and my stupid legs wouldn't work! Grrrrrrr. I didn't go all out on the downhill because I have a fear of turning into roadkill if I went over the slightest bump. Sure people passed me and if I could have lassoed myself to them I would have. It was hard going on my 1000lb bike.
