Running in Heat

Any tips from the masses out there about how a brother can get better running in the heat? I live in Dallas, TX and it tends to get just a little warm here and my running officially goes down the perverbial toilet once the thermometer gets over 80. A few ideas of how to improve this would be greatly appreciated. I was very well hydrated today for my Sprint Tri and still had a horrible 5K. Thanks!
