Monterey CA. ?

man, I wish I could move back to Monterey...

Wow, don't get me started on how much I love that area. Met my wife there in 1993 and we would love to go back. Only lived there for a couple years but we have so many fond memories. Have been back to visit a few times though. All those memories of Big Sur, Jack's Peak, Elkhorn Slough, and so on are coming back now.....WHY DID YOU DO IT?

Last time I was there was for "work" and that means we got to fly up and down the coast from Marina to Santa Barbara and inland as far as HWY 101.....BEAUTIFUL!

I really enjoy Monterey but don't get there often enough. I live in Pleasanton, it's about 95miles north of Monterey. I'd be up for an occasional long ride on the weekends.

Tony, sounds good. I will let you know when I am in the area again. It wont be until December though. SO mayby we can start off the year with some rides. Do you mountain bike as well? I like the Santa Cruz area for that.

I have not mountain biked in a few years but could put the knobby tires back on the hardtail for an occasional off road ride.

Let's hope it's not a wet winter because the rain already started last weekend. Let me know when you're settled in and ready for a ride.

OK sounds good. I will let you know. All I have right now is a mountain bike. I am hoping to buy a Felt B2 in december as my road bike, so then we can do some long road rides. Its not too fun to ride far on a mountain bike, gears are not big enough.
