cork to cobh 15 miler?

(i know this is the wales racing thread but i didnt see a specifically ireland one and though someone may be able to help me here)

Hi,

I'll luckily be in ireland biking at the end of september and wondering for the beginning of october. i'm in cork for a few days and noticed that the Cork-Cobh 15 mile road race will be going on.

Has anyone done this? can you tell me any stories, any advice...Thanks!
