TexasMan Olympic swim distance changed!!

Finally, Dallas Athletes have decided to change the swim distance for the Olympic race back to a normal distance than make us swim the same as the Half participants.  The site says 1500 yards rather than meters, which I find odd as that is now short, but at least it doesn't say 1.2 miles anymore.  I have been on the fence about registering for this race for about 45 days since this would be my first Olympic.  I feel so much more confident about it now.  The price goes up Aug 1, so I am registering today.  Hope to see some of you there.
