Swim
Comments: The wind kicked up and it got quite choppy in Lake Erie. The swim our to the bouy sucked, but the swim back was much better. I was able to keep a rhythm and gt my breathing down pretty good. Not sure if it was just nerves at the start, but I really felt slow and a realy bad swimmer for the start. What would you do differently?: Practice more in open water and be more prepared for current changes. Focus more on bilateral breathing. Transition 1
Comments: Knew I had to make up time from the crappy swim I just had. So I kicked it up a notch or 2 and once I started passing other cyclists I fet much better;) What would you do differently?: Not a thing..I felt really good! Bike
What would you do differently?: Not a thing, felt good! Transition 2
Run
What would you do differently?: Pivk up my pace a little more. Although I was happy nobody passed me. the best feeling was coming down teh shute and passing an 18 year old. Love that feeling!!! Post race
Warm down: Stretching and ate a banana & rice cake with peanut butter and raisins! Lots of H2O What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing Event comments: I had a great time and I think I am now addicted;) Last updated: 2007-07-29 12:00 AM
