Who will be at Innsbrook this coming weekend? I will be torturing myself on Sunday in the Octomax. I hope to see improvement from June.

I will be there.   I am volunteering on Saturday and racing the Octomax on Sunday.   Are you part of a club?   If so, which one.   I am a member of the Columbia Multisport Club.   Hope to see you out there.

IN!!  I'll be out there Friday evening and all of Saturday.  On Sunday I have to cheer on some friends at the Lewis & Clark Marathon in St. Charles, MO.

I hope you have a great race, Tim!

Hey Josh, when are you getting to Innsbrook?  Are you bringing the family with you?

I am going down there on Friday with my wife, daughter, mother-in-law and father-in-law.   My father-in-law is doing the Halfmax on Saturday and the Octomax on Sunday (he is hardcore!!! We are not staying at Innsbrook though,  CMC has a bunch of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn in Wentzville.  I dont know if I will be around Friday evening or not, but I will be around all day on Saturday.   I should be getting there really early on Saturday, and I will have some free time before and after my volunteer duties.  My duties run from 9am-2pm.   I will be around for the awards and the dinner.   I am sure i will see you around that day.   I am looking forward to meeting your family.   Talk to you later.

we have a wedding to go to saturday, so we'll see how the race goes. I've been training most of the week in Colorado, so my recovery week, hasn't been too much recovery.

How did everone do? I had good time. Event shirt is really cool. I was surprised that I received a finisher medal. I thought you had to run a quarter to get one of those. The CMC was certainly out in full force. The comradary and inner rivalry was cool to see. Beat my June 24 time by approx 10 minutes and my goal time by almost a minute. If I can only get stronger on the bike I might be able to start seeing the top guys in my age group somewhere on the run course.

I did the Octomax and was 30th overall with a 1:32  and was 6th in my AG.   I was pleased with the day, though I would have liked to get in the top 5 of my AG.   Did everyone like the Hills on the run course?

those hills were nasty out there!

great race, Josh.  Sorry I didn't get to meet your family. it was good seeing a friendly face out there, though. i will tell you that!! Afterwards I had to be dragged (literally) back to my car to entertain some friends who were starving (so i had to get the grill fired up).

i'll be surprised if there's a tougher run course in the midwest. nice job to all who competed!

The hills didn't seem as steep this time around. I think that's because I knew what to expect. Don't get me wrong, i was hurting, but I did shave four minutes off my run time from June. There were alot of tough competitors out there. Great job to all.
