Pre-race routine:

I wasn't sure if I would do the race because I had bronchitis and was coughing up a lung, but when the alarm went off, I decided to do it as a long slow workout. Had some coffee and a clif bar.
Event warmup:

Ran about 1/4 mile to warm up. Then swam a little. I was planning to just go slow, so I didn't feel the need to warm-up too much as this was going to be a workout, not a race for me.

I was thinking the same thing!!!  2nd in AG on a slow workout day, should you have been racing Elite????
