Subject: Asking for Professional Opinions on a Back Spasm I am soliciting opinions and no one will be held to any advice given....
September 8th I had a back spasm (99.9999% sure thats what it was ), it is much better but still painful. I have stopped my workouts since but i have been doing stretchs, i iced the first 48 hours and applied heat afterwards. Do you think it is ok to start lifting weights (light ) with my back and working on my ab muscles to make the area stronger or should i wait until i am completely healed before starting back???? I have an Ironman June 22nd and am anxious to get in the game and start training but i want to be 100% by December 1st. It is really only sore in the mornings or when i get up and down out of a chair.
