Swim
Comments: Not too bad, frustrating to try to pass people in a half lane, but didn't slow me down too much, felt just fine with the swim, didn't over exert myself Transition 1
Comments: No shirt required, just threw on my shoes (first tri w/ bike shoes and no practice transitioning w/ them) and helmet/sunglasses, jogged to the mount line and took off What would you do differently?: practice transitions so i can figure out the shoes on bike thing Bike
Comments: Wanted 19-20 mph, got 18.8. Not too bad but if i had aero bars...and more time in the saddle... I wanted to hammer this pretty well since its been a weak spot, turned out ok. What would you do differently?: more time in the saddle Transition 2
Comments: Didn't stress too much about quickness here, hadn't practiced getting out of my shoes while still on my bike What would you do differently?: practice transition more Run
Comments: Didn't feel very fast, but i guess thats decieving after going 20 mph for an hour. I was happey w/ this, just wanted to avg around 8 min mile. Had a slight side ache, didn't slow me down too much though What would you do differently?: hit it harder towards the end, wasn't sure about how far i had to go, finished w/ a little bit of gas in the tank Post race
Warm down: drank water, picked up my TA What limited your ability to perform faster: guaging distance left Last updated: 2007-09-26 12:00 AM
