We have a Babyjogger - city series - that we use for everything. Not a dedicated jogger, but runs fast and smooth. However, it does not have a brake, but do not miss it. Works great for everyday, since it folds fast and easy and have straight/swivel setting for front wheel. Comes in a double as well. Baby jogger has other models.
