Stone bruise for 2 Months

I played ultimate frisbee in what turns out to be bad cleats. It cuase a large bruise on the outside corner of my heal. This was a month before my tri so I rested it for the next week by swimming and biking. After the tri I tried to rest it, but it is going on 2 months, could this be something worse? or is this normal. After todays run, it was hurting more than ever, and I just rested for the last week or so.
