Subject: settling in for the off season
maybe it was me donning my grandmother's clothes last weekend for that 5k, but the past week i've been positively domestic. starting on sunday, i've cooked batches of stuffed cabbage (my grandmother's recipe), chicken paprikash w/ dumplings (also my grandmother's recipe), colcannon w/ crock pot corned beef, curry lentil sweet potato soup, butternut squash soup, and baked chocolate chip cookies (butter and egg free), an apple pie, and a pumpkin pie. apart from several miles of walking each day, i didn't work out at all! i'm feeling guilty, yet content.

What time is dinner??

Don't feel guilty, with all you've done this year a little time off is warranted.  I've been not active either, just the walking and sometimes the change is good.  At least you're getting out
