Good shoe, just not worth the price to me anymore when I can get the same benefit from a cheaper shoe that might even last longer.

I might be back to Newtons at some point but for now I have found a much cheaper alternative.

If you want a shoe that promotes a midfoot strike but don't want to pay Newton prices give these shoes a try. The tread pattern and entire shoe is designed for a midfoot strike and it works. Very lightweight, fast shoe, even cures my mild over-pronation without feeling like a stability shoe.

According to the website they even have a race shoe that is the same shoe but has a hatch on the back so you can leave the shoe tied and put the flap down in T2, then when you get off the bike, jam your foot in, flip the hatch up (like a ski boot) and away you go.

Do not buy them unless you like buying shoes every few hundred miles.

i am not a gadget/gimmick person. was really looking for something to help on the strength part of the swim stroke that wasn't outside the pool (ie: weights). only had them for 2 months now and i notice a difference iin my stroke efficiency and pull strength. once you get the feel, you will be pleased.

I can't use this suit; the rubbing on my throat is just too bad. If it fits you so that it doesn't rub, I think it'd be great, but apparently I'm not the only user who has had this problem. I don't know if it'll fit everyone this way, but it has rubbed at least two users this way. If you can find a used one that's less expensive to try out, I say go for it, but keep in mind it may be uncomfortable if it fits you like it does me.

Great shoe. This company has been consistent for me for over twenty years. That's saying something when others have sacrificed flash for function.

Researched the heck out of bikes before purchase. I do 3 sprint tri's a year so keep that in mind. For what I needed the Mirage Pro fit all my needs. For $549.00 (no tax and free shipping from Bikes Direct) and $83.00 for my local shop to assemble and true it, I could not be happier. If hesitant on ordering from them, don't be. Bike came via UPS as ordered within a week and they included profile bars which weren't even mentioned. I know a lot of cyclists look down on road bikes with profile bars but for straight line riding they add an additional comfort position. If I had a little more cash, I would have upgraded to the "Vent Noir" for the better bars and upgraded front / rear / shifter system. But for $549.00, I could not be happier on my purchase!

Overall I've gotta give this shoes 4/5. It's really is a fantastic minimal shoe. I don't mind running 6-10 miles in some VFFs, but if I'm gonna run 15-16 miles on some tough trail I'll definitely be wearing these. If you're venturing into minimal running I'd say these are a FANTASTIC medium between normal shoes and the VFFs.

I got these recommended by Salesman. Good stability, Arch to high, Toe box not enough room really wore on the toes on the long runs.

Excellent bike for the price and my brother has the Dawes 2100 and is in love with that also.

Overall great suit. The Xterra Vortex 4 was slightly better due to fit and float. With both being similar price i would get the Vortex.

Xterra Vortex 4 was slightly better than the Blue 70 Sprint in fit, flexibility and floatability.
