  • Comments: As usual, first race of a good bare-bones series. T-shirts and food and drink, no awards. Fun and low key.

  • Comments: I missed 10th place and 1st in my age group by 14 seconds but I can honestly say that I didn't have 14 seconds anywhere in the race to pick up. I will just train hard again this coming winter and try again next year.

  • Comments: I didn't use my heart rate monitor or anything to pace me on the run. I just went at a strong pace and I think it worked out. I think I need to pace my first run a little better to see if it would help the bike and second run but it might not.

  • Comments: Good start-of-season race, seventh year for this one and they have it down pat. Good bare bones event, plenty of on-course support with good food after.

  • Comments: I got first place in my age group. Annette won Masters, so I was bumped up. I am happy that I ran FAST, now I have to go faster on the bike. It's always fun doing these events with Dylan and BEAR.
