  • Comments: This race was a good way to start things off to see where I'm rusty. Unfortunately I'm rustier than I thought. I've got a big race in 2 weeks so we'll see how I really stack up then. With only 77 participants, its not a very deep field. I was happy to go under an hour, thats the first time I've gone that low.

  • Comments: This was a smaller race, so I don't want to get too excited about my finish time/place. We'll see how I end up next month at Ft. De Soto with 1000 people entered.

  • Comments: This is a great little race!! A noe on timliness. This race was scheduled to start at 8:30. According to my watch, the first person hit the pool at 8:30:07! That was unreal!!!! They had a nice podum for the awards ceremony, which was pretty cool actually, made people stick around and actually allowed you to recognize the people who placed. I love the free massage.

  • Comments: Very well organized despite the lack of information prior to the race. Plenty of volunteers who were AWESOME! Not sure I liked all the hills or the traffic route, so I don't think I'd do this one again. It was pretty AWESOME that they waited for all the racers to finish pior to giving awards. Race shirt had a good design too. I was really suprised at how many super-fast folks there were. Not at all the novice race I thought it would be.
