  • Comments: I'm giving DA a break on starting the swim late since they more than made up for it by having more potties and water stations. Plus, they got those buoys out in a hurry and that small delay didn't seem to mess anything up. Nice touch to have the color guard.

  • Comments: I think we were abit late starting but not much. Lots of very helpful volunteers and drink stations. The Pizza was gone when I went to get it I guess that is more incentive to go faster.

  • Comments: Great venue, with a rolling hill bike course and a partially shaded run course. The roads are a bit rough in some parts, but a very enjoyable event. I thought the volunteers were great, and there was surprisingly little chaos even though 3 different events were going on. They need to really keep the athletes on the left side at that crazy water station, though. Cross traffic occurs once the athletes switch sides. The organizers also need more water at the end of the race, though!!! There were not bottles of anything left, and the water jugs were set well back and unlabeled. I hope they found more before the half-iron finishers came in.

  • Comments: This was a very well run race with plenty of helpful volenteers. They managed through the bad weather nicely and all courses were very nice and safe. I hear there was free beer and vodka, but I wasn't feeling too great so I passed on it. There was apples, bananas, and bagles given out, but this was the first race where I've seen vendors (pizza, smoothie, etc) there selling food at carnival prices.

  • Comments: This was only my second one. First was RiverCities - very nice!! If you have positive suggestions, other than to 'train more' let me know. I am new to this, but something I plan to continue with.

  • Comments: Pretty good race all in all. I'm not a big fan of the Tnt groups and will try to stay away from races that have a lot of them.
