  • Comments: 1st place in this race beat me by almost 9 minutes. She beat me by less than a minute in the 1st race of the series 2 months ago. Hmmmm. Thank dog it was a short course. Great to see tri/du friends that I hadn't seen all season w/ all the bike racing I've been doing.

  • Comments: Good race and fun course. No turns on the bike just straight out and back. Won a pint glass for first in the agegroup. The national du champ at age 55 was here today and crushed me by 4 minutes. He was the second age grouper. THere were a handful of pros. #3-4 in the nation on the mens side. Josh Merrick and Justin Herd. ANd women 4th place at nationals. Pretty good competion in Bennet today.

  • Comments: Love Racing Underground. Got a cool pint glass for 3rd place. Winner of our AG won pedals also. Lots of giveways, too. Low key fun group of people that do their races, yet still fairly competitive. Finished 10th of 90 women :)

  • Comments: Racing Underground does a good job and provides a good value. Overall, I feel much better about this race today than I did as I finished it yesterday.

  • Comments: Like I said earlier I'm four weeks out from one of my A-races of the year. I think if I geared my training more toward short course I could go a lot faster. I've only got one more hard block of training before Lake Stevens so these short races I'm treating as speed days. I think my form right now is pretty good and quite a bit better than this time last year. Planning on doing one more sprint race and starting my taper. June! What a great freaking month!

  • Comments: This is the second race in the Mile High Du series. It was much better organized than the first one back in May. It was kind of cool to have this race in a town that doesn't see a lot of this kind of activity (Bennett is a small farming town ~25 miles east of Denver).
