  • Comments: Pretty good race that has potential. I had to leave before awards were handed out, but ppl seemed to be entertained. Atmosphere was festive and fun.

  • Comments: They did a great job with the post events. They had door prizes and gave away some nice gifts. I didnt win anything though. They let us have all the hot dogs we wanted so I had 4 of the things.

  • Comments: This is such a great little local race. I mean... how many Sprints give finisher's medals to all participants? There are tons of awards and medals and door prizes, plus hotdogs with fixings. It's just a great family event!

  • Comments: great race. There was one aid station with water for the run. There was none for the bike. The after race activities were great and they even gave us a medal for finishing. I guess the worst thing was the muddy run but overall it was a good event.

  • Comments: I thought it could've been a little better organized. The spectators should not be allowed in the transition area or race area. It makes finding where you're supposed to go next more difficult. The staff and volunteers were great and couldn't have been nicer. It's great the let us come into their community and do this.

  • Comments: This race was a small local race and I did not expect much. I was totally surprised by how well this race was conducted! I've NEVER received a finisher's medal for a sprint distance before, so that was a nice touch. They had a great awards ceremony and even raffled off a LOT of items afterwards. I won a new helmet! They also had hotdogs after the race. Very nice race and I would do it again.

  • Comments: not USAT sanctioned; no "age up" so I raced M35-39 instead of M40-44 as in sanctioned races. On the other hand, no sanction = iPods are ok - I think I gain 20-30sec per mile alone w/ tunes!

  • Comments: No timing chips probably keeps the entry fee down, but I wish I'd worn a watch to know my splits in transition and the bike. A fun event for my first tri - I will definitely repeat next year!
