  • Comments: Will be back next year to improve. Great location and course. Had heard a lot of bad things about race organizers prior but was really happy with everything that they did. Tri 101 on day before was huge help.

  • Comments: Great race, beautiful venue. Plan to race for many years to come. Plus it was my first Tri! Amazing experience and I'm hooked, now off to purchase aerobars and a tri-saddle.

  • Comments: Very good and fast race... LOVED it. only my 2nd tri and it was great. was shooting for 1:20 so i beat that pretty good. next is tawas or MSU not sure but cant wait. gonna break the 1:10 mark by the end of the year i hope.

  • Comments: This was my 1st event as a racer, along with two others as support for my wife. Overall, I thought the event was decent for a 1st year event. It sounds like the race will change next year with the changes to the park. I've heard complaints about someone getting lost on the run and the timing clock getting unplugged for a brief period, but didn't see anything about it myself.

  • Comments: I'm a little frustrated that the T1 times were not recorded and that my bike time and T2 times didn't register, even though I made a point to hit all the mats.
